Château Laulan, Côtes de Bordeaux 2019

Château Laulan is a lovely little winery based in Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux. Started in 1982 by three friends, Joann, Quentin and Charlie; the winery focuses on producing organic wines for which the region is best known: juicy , fruit-driven reds and aromatic whites. Côtes de Bordeaux 2019 is made from a blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Malbec. The grapes were harvested and aged for 18 months in concrete prior to release. A nose of blackberry, raspberry, bramble and violet leads to a structured palate which perfectly balances the tannins of the Cabs and roundness of the Merlot & Malbec. A great "house red" which is super versatile and ready for all occasions.
